This list of delinquent tax parcels ONLY contains parcels that have not paid taxes in 3 years or MORE. This list is directly from the County Treasurer’s tax collection software program called MFCD, as of June 2018.
As shown below, there are hundreds of parcels in Pike County that have not paid taxes in more than 3 years, 10 years, and sometimes more than 20 years. If the number of years says “19”, then the parcel has been delinquent for 19 years in a row or more. A number of these parcels have shown delinquent on taxes since the 1960s.
The goal of this project is to find the rest of the dead parcels. We are asking for your help to find information that identifies those parcels that should be deleted from the records.
A question and answer page to answer many of the questions from taxpayers will be posted to answer questions from the public. Please submit any questions you have. The questions asked most often will be answered and posted on the Q & A page. (All personal information will be omitted from the post.)
